In all of Jade’s design work, she aims to find balance between the academic and the personal. Her style of visual storytelling is informed by rigorous dramaturgical and historical research, as well as a broad range of personal inspirations and influences– among them, contemporary fashion, vintage design, childhood nostalgia, and the vibrant city she calls home. Also pursuing a minor in Art History, Jade’s work often makes reference to art and architecture of the past. She is particularly interested in exhibition and museum design as a natural extension of her exploration into the relationship between space and story.
Aside from her studies, Jade is an avid visual artist and enjoys working in a range of 2D and 3D mediums. She is especially passionate about illustration, mixed-media sculpture, and fiber arts.
